I don't really have anything important to say, but I was really really dumb this morning and drank coffee (my mom made some and then forgot it) and now I feel like I'm full of sentient pingpong balls and I'm having a hard time sitting still and breathing. YAAAY. When I'm rich, I'm gonna hire two flunkies to follow me around and smack me a good one every time I even think about drinking coffee or soda.
I just had a massive cleaning spree and I'm trying to figure out what there is to do around here that doesn't involve my heart turning into a humming bird. BWAHAHAH.
So far, the two main accomplishments of my day aside from caffinating myself stupid have been calling Orbitz and United Airlines and trying to move my departure date up from September 8 to sometime in late August. However, this year people are asshats and want to charge me between $115-130 to change it, unlike last year when it was about as easy as sneezing. Honestly, though, I'm kinda glad. After this summer, I'll have about a month during winter break to be here before going to Oahu with Ange for my birthday which was arranged because last year SUCKED. i.e. I left for Savannah on January 2- the same day she got in from Oahu. Exactly twelve hours apart. BLARGH. But we shall thwart that this year. It's gonna be weird not being with my mom for my birthday, though. We're just gonna do it early. ANYWAY tangent. I'm here til September 8, which means I'll have sooo much time to just hang by myself and do whatever which is kinda bad for a twenty-year-old but OHDAMNWELL the last four quarters at SCAD will probably kill me in retribution anyway. Might as well make up for them ahead of time.
...Circular logic, wow.
Not to mention, I'm gonna bust my butt to get a job once I get back from winter break, so I'll have money for Comic Con next summer. I WILL HITCHHIKE IF I HAVE TO, DAMMIT. It's sort of the light at the end of the tunnel as far as taking a summer quarter in Savannah-Of-The-Death-Heat AFTER I graduate. I'll skip a couple days of class and hang out with a bunch of comic nerds on the West Coast, rather than the horde I see every day at class on the East Coast. *snickers* Anyway. I also have Spring Break to scrape funds for, so I can visit Ange in Walla Walla. *tantrum*
ANOTHER TANGENT, GEEZ.
Second accomplishment of the day is reading a bunch more House of Leaves. Heheh. I was waiting for it to start eating people. Chompy chompy, Mr.Monster nyahah.
Ange and me were lying on the grass reading over the weekend and she eventually stopped reading her own book just to watch me read House because apparently I make amusing faces. I just finished chapter XIII. I miss Holloway. He was funny. Especially after he started running around and shooting things. And it occurs to me how twisted that sounds in context, but oh well. Joe keeps giving me these withering "I'm so much better than you and your strange head" looks because I'm marking all the typos in red flags. Bah. I don't know if it was on purpose, but there's actually a pattern emerging.
HOLY CRAP I NEED TO SHUT UP.
For the record, I haven't had any significant caffeine intake since September 2004 because of the kidney stone, so my tolerance sort of died. ...In my defense. Because I know this was a giant ramble. Either that, or I've been reading too many footnotes.
XP
