Okay, so for anyone who saw BSG tonight, this might make REMOTE amounts of sense. Chris, Aja and I saw the trailers for the ep before it even came on, while watching Dresden, and Chris formulated this just from that. He has uncanny intuition yes.

And then there was the stipulations on how the Cylons have been tracking the Battlestar by the trail of porn jettisoned from Airlock 12. I DID NOT SAY PORN STASH. I SAID PORNSTACHE. Dammit. This post has no point at all.

I was mostly calling lines like "Don't tell me, tell him" and "But she never loved you." Word for word. I wish my friends were more efficient at getting me to shut up during episodes. (And GAH! Too much filler! Even if it is character development. Though I'm still glad that, even though apparently even Gaeta (who can't fathom straight relationships) thinks Roslin and Adama are together, they're not like "Weee, we're together." Even if it is getting to the awkward denial sort of phase.)

Yeah. All three of us are downright awful. We miss the only plot there's been in these recent eps because we're so damned busy laughing hysterically at things like the porn-trail they Cylons are tracking and Adama and Roslin and their little cabin they want to build. I mean, WOW. But you're right- I'm so glad it isn't spelled out or acted on. It's just so much... classier? I dunno. I like it. We all know, it isn't subtext anymore, but it doesn't have to be shoved in our damned faces.
And poor Gaeta.

Also, I had good money on Roslin contracting whatever rash that pilot guy had from the exercise room. Why was that not followed up on? Obviously this is a future plot point.

Yeah, I know. It's getting almost ridiculous and I'm doing my best to tune out the Iraq refs because I don't want to think about Baltar being associated to that. It's just... weird. I'm really afraid that they're actually going to execute him, in which case, I'll need a good reminder of why I watch this show... Aside from the general awesome, that is. But... but Baltar is just... amazing. *whine*

I just can't imagine them killing off Baltar. I think Six would find a way to save him... or they'd cash in the slight sympathy thing from when they had him drugged up and vulnerable and Adama would pull some kind of Helo and get him out of it. Baltar, as much as I think he's greasy and skeezy and kinda retarded, is an excellent character, and it'd be goshdarn silly of them to kill him off. Especially since there's another season.

Yeah, it'd be retarded but he's doomed. He's my favorite character so he's going to die. It's only a matter of time. And you're entirely right- he's an excellent plot device if nothing else. MAN I loved how Adama was hallucinating in this one. I was giggling so hard. Bu S4 every character will be hallucinating.

I'm hoping if they do kill him, they wait at least until next season. His death wouldn't motivate anything, except maybe to make life incredibly miserable for a lot of people on the show. Which... I dunno, I'd like to trust the writers more than that, I think. There are always more interesting (and troublesome) ways to cause trouble. (-: Perhaps they'll fail to execute him, but he'll die another way.

I really don't want him to die. He's too damned interesting! And Gaeta would cry. But yes, I trust in the writers. They've done SO many things right, thinking about it, I can't see them suddenly eating a stupidcracker and doing something like that. I assume it'll happen eventually, though. I'm just wondering who the big alluded-to season death will be.

Really? I thought it was Roslin that was building that cabin. With her bare hands. At least, that's the impression I got. Obviously with a female president, it's a very matriarchal society now, so she's got to build the dwelling. Except Baltar fracked everything up for them. ^_^

Okay, yeah. You have a point. It's like a ceremonial right or something. I think what I love best about her and Adama is how there is little to no angst surrounding them. They're mature, intellectual, and capable of having separate lives. I'm really proud of the writers for realizing that there are actually relationships like that out there and we don't all have to be Apollo and Starbuck. Speaking of whom, I saw SHIRTS of with the two of them together at Megacon. I mean, my gods.
