BOOM POW ZAP
Aug. 24th, 2007 05:43 pmI think SCAD has begun it's final stages of forcefully ejecting me. I'm at the library now after about twenty minutes of fighting with the internet on my laptop and then trying a SCAD computer and it not letting me, no matter what I did, sign in. So... that was fast. Maybe this is their not-so-subtle hints at making me crawl over to alumni services... Right.
Anyway, I'm packed.
Which is utterly ridiculous, but I couldn't stand having my apartment look that disorganized. Or having things unfinished. Or having that feeling that there's something left to do.
I think I have a small pathological problem.
Anyway, I stayed up til after 8 this morning, packing til about 5:30 and then watching Boston Legal til I passed out. Ngh. I'm tired. It was kinda cool, though. There was an enormous thunder storm going on all morning that I got to sleep to. It was nice.
But anyway, my whole life currently resides in ten boxes. Really heavy boxes, but still. My stuff could easily fit in seven or eight, maybe even six boxes, but they'd weigh about 200 lbs a piece.
WHY DOES EVERYTHING I OWN WEIGH A METRIC SHITTON?! *sigh* But it's packed. Now all I gotta do is work out the kinks in moving, and I'm not even gonna get into that now. Ugh.
I am, however, going to try and get to Florida tomorrow instead of Sunday. I have nothing keeping me here the extra day, so might as well. We'll see what Amtrak says about that.
Otherwise, it's a nice feeling to every few minutes get smacked with the reality that I don't have some sort of impending doom descending upon me. Unless you count moving, but that'll work out. Just... work-wise. And packing-wise. It's nice.
