Apr. 19th, 2007 11:26 pmTHE WEEK IS FINALLY OVER! *party blower*
The crit today was so funny, for 'Sleeve's class. No one was awake. Michelle kept swaying in place, Sarah was melting slowly into the floor, and I was giggling like a maniac at the local crazies. Namely Pronas and Brett and this guy John who were doing three-way impressions of what they think Jim Davis is like in person. Apparently it's a reoccurring theme in this class. Also the speculation that Jim Davis is, in fact, a robot who creates clones of himself and will never, ever stop. It's a grim world. And it's also really funny on about three hours of sleep. ...I think we might have also critiqued things... I remember getting a pretty good review, which surprised me. The last page with my giant Star Wars cityscape got a lot of interesting noises, as did my Vader. OMG I LOVE MY VADER! If I'm happy with one thing in that project, it's him. He's hardcore. To tell the truth, though, I'm glad I don't have to look at that project for awhile, I can't even see the third page anymore. Seriously. Like, I look at it and my brain shuts down in sheer panic.
You probably think I'm kidding.
I have an oddly light workload this weekend, thank gods. Just a page that John gave us, and some little exercise for that class I missed when I left early yesterday. So maybe, finally, I'll have time to get some script pounded out, maybe even layouts (GASP), for the Idea. I was supposed to present Monday but got sick. The Wednesday was like, Official Tangent Day, which is saying something because that's like every Bob class. This was just sort of epic. So this Monday, I wanna go. And Sarah hasn't gone, either, so I'll hopefully have company. Eheh... wow, what the hell am I going to say?
Tonight was really nice, though. Courtney got her car towed this morning for parking handicapped, but got it back this afternoon and we grabbed Jen and went out for falafel. Mmm. Court took off for home, and me and Jen watched Little Miss Sunshine and ate ice cream. ...Very interesting movie. I liked it a lot. Small children and large families worry me.
