lllookalivethe fountain at Turner is completely frozen over and covered in icicles. i have pictures.
i was standing by it, poking at the ice when i heard laughing and turned around. there was a guy standing behind me and watching me, and just as i was about to say, "what? where i come from, this doesnt happen." when he came up next to me and started poking it, too, saying "this is so cool. where you from?" i told him. he was from california. we poked it for a few more minutes, stole icicles, and ran off.
its always so nice to connect.
