Vacation tomorrow. FINALLY VACATION TOMORROW.
This week is going into the log as one of those infamous Nightmare Weeks that just never frakking ends and you spend the rest of your life praying there won't be another one of.
I'm not ready to talk about commencement yet, and I'm leaving it at that.
Dinner after was fun, though, since we were in the middle of a tropical storm and the restaurant we were at on the water was literally blowing away. These huge paneled windows were blowing away like sails and there were four employees plastered to the wall holding them down. There was about an inch of water on the floor in some places. And it was flooding everywhere. In short: Awesome. It matched my mood.
The good part about all of this has been the free and amazing food in large amounts. My mom and I did Pink House last night. She, my uncle and aunt and I did Saigon for Vietnamese/Thai the other night. There was the Crab Shack incident. And Fiddlers the night my parents both came in. All of this was really nice because I kind of didn't eat for three days or something before all of this. Last night was my first real sleep.
I'm all moved (since Friday) into my new apartment on Park. It's ridiculously cute and kind of huge. Very Victorian. I want to get as much as I can set up and put away today because I'm leaving at 10-something in the morning tomorrow for Rhode Island and Massachusetts til the 14th. The new quarter starts on the 18th. I am going to be such a vegetable in between.
I think I'll be fine for internet while I'm there, too. I hope. I know both sets of aunts and uncles have highspeed and I'm assuming that means wireless, unless they get some mystical sort of highspeed conjured from the pits of the counterintuitive. Whatever. I jut want to get some damned good rp'ing under my belt kthx.
