This coming week is going to hurt. A lot.
I just realised that I sort of count weeks as Friday-Thursday instead of Sunday-Saturday. Hunh. Anyway.
So Megacon is tomorrow, and that should be fun EXCEPT the small fact that I have this inordinate amount of work to accomplish and oh... NO TIME TO DO IT IN.
Two drawn, fully-inked super-busy pages for Duncan containing an assload and a half of lettering and fonts.
Five penciled pages for Gildersleeve.
I haven't even begun thumbnails or layouts of either of these thanks to fucking Ray.
Just turned in his "Simpsons" storyboarding project. I think I did pretty well with it. Meh. But then he gave us a new project due Tuesday. It should be fun, should I ever find time to do it:
Re-design Star Wars. Or, four character designs. From the original trilogy. In one of four time/location specific choices. These being Old Western, Mayan, Feudal China, or 50's Vegas. I chose China, maybe because of the fun costumes and weapons, but also because I plan on using Avatar for lots of inspiration. Mmmmmmm...Han Solo the Earth Bender YOU KNOW YOU CAN SEE IT!!!
So there's all of that. And I have a late Valentine's day date on Saturday night with Joe, plus the con, plus whatever else... fuck. Why am I even wasting time whining about it here? *ooze* I'm making business cards tonight for the con so I can pimp myself out. Nngghghgngnghghn. And I gotta get my Inara costume together. Steve and Chris are going as the Two By Two, Hands of Blue. They're fantastic and actually got fitted for tailored suits two weeks ago. They volunteered to be my entourage against sketchy fanboys. <33333
OH! And Steve just came over and installed my ram! My baby is running so smooth now, omg. 256MB to 2gigs. Eheheheh. I can't count the number of times I've been screeched at for having so little in my G5. WELL NOT ANYMORE, BITCHES!!! *boogies*
Kay. Time to go do something productive. Like learn telekinesis.
