So I slept through my first class of my senior year. Er, technically, I didn't. I slept til 11:22 and it started at 11 and ends at 1:30, but it's the first day so when I got there at 11:45 it was over. So I stayed and talked to the prof the rest of class time. Gods I feel really dumb. That is so unlike me. I guess my internal clock is still off or something. And I totally remember setting my cell alarm but it never went off. Fuck. Or else I did something dumb and disabled it somehow without realizing it. Whatever. At least it was just the first class and Gildersleeve seems pretty cool. He used to draw Doctor Strange before Marvel went bankrupt and canned the arch. He's also a cowboy. This amuses me. Anyway, we talked a lot about self publishing and certain people who are reading this may be interested to know that apparently it is ridiculously easy to go into self-publishing and creating a private comics company. I asked him about it and he said that yeah, it's a perfectly viable option. I did a little dance in my head. And he didn't eat my soul for being late. He was just like, "Uh, weren't you supposed to be here at 11?" and I looked really sad and dejected at him and it was all good. I sorta wish it'd been Lyle's class, though. He knows me and knows that I'm like, nazi-attendance girl. Hey, maybe I'll sleep through his 11 o'clock I have tomorrow. ONLY NOT. Cripes I'm a dumbass.

...Which continues after class when I go to the post office to mail two packages of cookies (MY HIKARI IS A LEECH) and I realize I've forgotten to get Ange's new address and [livejournal.com profile] rsiasta, I swear I have yours memorized but I don't trust myself and apparently in my unpacking frenzy the card with your addey on it DIED OR WAS HORRIBLY WAYLAID! *cries* And I didn't get to wear my new clothes because they take effort to get into and also it's been pouring rain and I have to bike to class. Speaking of which, the weather here has been, and I have never said this about a consistent Savannah weather pattern, AWESOME! It isn't even really hot. It was all sunny yesterday but totally non-evil. And today it was pouring on me on the way home (I'm still soaked) and it felt like Hilo. Sorta warm and humid with comfy rain. Wtf, Savannah- you get a cookie for actually acting like September! Maybe this winter will actually be like, icy or something. Wtf was that miserable craphole last year, anyway?

And now I get to figure out what to do until I have to leave for my 8pm class. Oh, and if I die or mysteriously disappear, someone sue SCAD for me, kay? They made this new class block from 8pm to 10:30. What the hell is that about? I have to ride my bike two miles across town each way and chances are I'll get kidnapped, raped, shot, or hit by a bus before ten weeks is up PLEASE LET NONE OF THIS HAPPEN OMG. Not to mention that pushes the first block back to 8am instead of 9 which totally throws off my groove and I wanna throw a bitch out the window. *cracks knuckles*
