well, the job is officially mine. *that* makes me happy. we've been having training sessions for prep for the test we all have to take to get certified. lots of fun, actually. its kinda become my social life. i'll be doing history and ghost tours, to start off with. i already know *way* too much about this city. its kinda disgusting, lol. but fun. i get some sort of sick pleasure from memorizing all this stuff. i have the whole street grid, e/w and n/s memorized of the city, and all the squares. 24 of them. theres 42 streets all together. and that isnt saying anything about the 215 other questions about history, architecture, and random other shit. ((@.@)) oddly, though, its sorta enjoyable.

another thing i'm glad about is my weekends. they're essentially 4 days. 2:30pm thursday to 6pm monday. shwing!

also, this weekend to commemorate my repeated attempts at getting comfortable, i'm gonna get a tv, and xbox, and halo and/or silent hill 4. ok. correction; i'm getting silent hill 4. maybe halo used if i have the money left.

silent hill 4... ehehehhehe.

good thing about distractions like these: they keep me from going crazy and thinking about home. shit, i wanna go back so bad. but at the same time... i know i cant, and there really isnt anything i can do rather than make the most out of what i have here and now. its driving me nuts.
