Something needs to occur on the RP front. I've been on a complete apathetic trip with them for months, and today my only presently active character found herself talking about remodeling apartments. There is a thread for it. Not that it isn't fun, it's just... lacking in death, mayhem, manipulation, and general fun for all. Of course, this will inevitably lead to the destruction of my sleep-cycle, but oh whatever. I need a way to take out the frustration wrought upon me in math class.
Next week is midterms.
How did that happen?
Ever get the feeling that you keep forgetting to pay attention to your life? Like, what's happening in it?
I want chocolate mochi and azuki piecrust manju and poke and OMG is decent sushi so hard to ask for?!
...I'm really not in a bad mood. Why am I whining?

I know what you mean, about things creeping up on you like that. We've got our standards tests next week and school is drawing to a close. It surprised me at how quickly it seems to be happening.

We get out June 22nd, I believe. We finished most of our giant projects for the year. I think the biggest thing we're doing now is a persuasive essay in my English class, but we're getting our hands held the whole time through it.

I'm used to it. That's how all of the districts are around here for the most part. XD; My math class lets us use notes on tests too which I don't mind. I really suck at math, but seem to actually be doing better at it this year. And yay for the RP~

Oooh, yeah. I'm baaad at math. I'm really mad right now, because if my gpa goes down because of the one stupid math class I have to take here, I'll be so ticked. I've always been impaired with math. I would fail if it weren't for my bf, who's an insane math-genius and also tutor. Go me.

So have I. I didn't get most of it when we started going into algebra and all that. It's cool that your BF is really good at it and a tutor. I think the only reason I'm doing good at it now is that our math teacher is pretty good at teaching the subject. He can break down really simplistically.

I have never had a math prof/teacher who could explain anything in a way i could really understand. And yeah, anything beyond alg1 kills me. I left off with geometry after dropping algII for creative dance and then dropping hs altogether. And I think the main reason Joe is so good with me is that he doesn't mind when I throw the book and accidentally punch him in my throes of rage (happened three times so far.). My mom used to give up at that stage. Heheh.

Neither have I until this year. I had one teacher that would go off in the middle of the problem to explain something else and then come back to it. And it's good that he doesn't mind that. It certainly makes things easier. XD;

Idk if I'm ADD or what, because I can concentrate on some stuff, like art, fine (most of the time), but stuff like math, I get halfway through reading a problem and my brain dies. Same with people teaching. Joe can read something and I'll hear maybe the first sentance or two. Or maybe I just suck.

I'm kind of like that too. Not quite like that because I can force myself to get through the problems and stuff, it's just I don't want to. It could always do with will power or just how boring the material is, I don't know.
