People are stupid. They suck. And they make me angry.
Like Lynnsie said, how is it that we can send people to the fucking moon, and not come up with a decent system for healthcare payement? ARGH
My doctor's office called me at 6am this morning. They told me I still have an infection. Well DUH I kept telling them that and they kept forgetting to call me. CHANCE ARE, *FUCKERS*, IF SOMETHING IS WRONG WITH MY BODY, I'M GONNA KNOW!!
So they tell me I have a new perscription. They don't tell me the test results, or even that I'm still sick. They just call me up and say they have more drugs for me. I have to go into the fucking Spanish Inquisition just to find out if anything I didn't already know is happening. Well, it wasn't. Peachy. So I tell them to call my pharmacy here in Hawai'i because I wont be back in Savannah for a month. She say's thats find. I repeat, FINE.
So my mom say's she'll get the Rx since she's in town anyway. She calls me just now to tell me that they haven't gotten a call. Well, its been six hours, people. What the fuck.
So I call my doctor's office. And mind you, this is after three months of dealing with these incompetent people. (they literally forget to call me back to give me test results on a regular basis) I ask where my Rx is. The lady first has to figure out who I am (I only say my name four or five times. But I suppose this is better than last time when she thought I was someone named something Douglas. Heheh. Juliet. Hahaha. Ok. Shutting up.), and then is like, oh, we didnt call it in because we didn't know the time difference, when they're open.
Well lets see here, shall we? Doesn't every pharmacy have a answering machine you can leave Rx numbers on? Apparently she didn't know this.
THEN she tells me oh, the office isn't allowed to make long-distance calls.
Waaaait a minute. Pick an alibi and stick with it, please?
So does this make negative sense to anyone else?
Anyway, I'm a castrating harlot, so I chewed them out until the lady said she'd call on her cell. Which she did. At least, thats what she said.
I feel very accomplished.

If you want to call the USPS and Canada Post, they owe me about 1,400$ USD which they haven't paid for 4 months strong. I'm almost kind of halfway serious too, I'm at the ends of my rope trying to fight with them and keep up with my own life.
