lllookalive: (bitchplz)
OK, so I quit omg_alchemist rp. That was a long time coming. I miss OOC!Envy greatly, but all in time shall occur...
Also, I got rid of almost all the communities on my list (...except the one I sort of allegedly mod and the one with the hot fics), so now I can actually read my friends page. Wonder of fucking wonders. Also, now I have ten seconds to commit to actually babbling on in this thing. Isn't that special.
This quarter is almost over. Fucking FINALLY. Four more of each class. My lighting and scene design class is going well. The prof is the most optimistic grader I've ever encountered. Not that you'll see me complaining. And my printer got wonky last night and wouldn't print out anything past page two of my visual research for the final (designing and creating a model set/stage and draft in 1/4" scale of Aristophanes' The Clouds, complete with color-scheme storyboards and workable model-pieces. Fun), so I had this genius idea and stuck the folder on my iPod, which was great, because I got to do a slide-show presentation on my iPod. And the prof was impressed. Well, whatever works, I guess. I'm just gloating that apparently what I said about needing it for school turned out to be real. (Okay, so keeping me entertained in class counts too...) I now have, among other things, four pictures of dying ficus plants on Envy's Heart. XD
Also, finally after weeks and weeks, read The Play From Hell, which is what I am dubbing the product of my writer's block which has been slowly and painfully hauled out of me by force. And people loved it. What the fuck. Not that I'm complaining, again, but still. I was expecting at least some critisism or something. Now all I gotta do is finish the fucker. Craaaaaap. And by wednesday.
The project I've been working on for two weeks in storyboarding, the two pages of the Ghost Busters script that I had to do fully grayscale inked storyboards of, I just finished today. It's due tomorrow. That was a minor nightmare up until the inking part. The actual drawing was just monotonous. But the good news is, I can ink now. Not that I think I'd have much choice after doing like, 36 of em... And then the in-class which I ended up finishing out of class... today. I thought it'd be an hour, max. Took me from 4:30 to 11:50. But it looks awesome. I have named it BOOYAKA and it makes me happy. Watch me get a C.

In other news, I was stupid and put a pinch of cayenne pepper into a dry pan over medium heat and it actually took me about three minutes to realize where the horrible, burning sensation was coming from. It got up my nose and now my nose is all wonky.
Hey Gwen, sound familiar? Think Margarita-Night 2004! *wince* ...Dousing oneself in sour cream is not a quick-fix to the afformentiond issue, kids. *flee*

Other other news, LOST, SEASON 1 DISC 2 FOR WEDNESDAY!! EXCITEMENT!

Upcoming stories:
My tackling of the third in-class project for storyboarding - A full-color storyboard sequence of a commercial for Jet-Puffed Marshmallows (what? They can't be too hard to draw, right?)
In tandem with the storyboarding final - A full-color sequence of a Superbowl commercial for Doritos. I already know the story, and it involves Ninjas.
Also in upcoming stories, I burn down Hamilton hall during break in writing class, and go on an x-acto-wielding rampage on my scene design final.
These and other stories coming soon.
Stay tuned.
