well shit.
May. 10th, 2005 01:14 amThis quarter can end now. Annnnny time. Still waiting... (sorry God of Thunder. Not like I wanna ditch you, but damn am I over this quarter)
This past weekend was both sad and incredibly awesomely wonderful. The God of Thunder drove us over to Statesboro on thursday night so we could hang out with Joe and help him pack up and move out by friday night. After we finished, we spent almost all night in their friend's apartment while they played D&D and i dozed until we left. We got back around 7am and got some sleep before my soccer game at 3. First goal of the season for my team!! John rocks. We still lost, though. Only, not as horribly. But afterwards we hooked up with Ashley and the four of us went to Masato's (local Japanese Hibachi restaurant). And I rock, so Joe got food, and HAH!! I told you you'd like it, love. *happy dance* Bwahaaha!! It was so cool. The chef does all this awesome flippy stuff with knives and fire at your table (holy shit... it was like, my dreams coming true before me...), and makes you this huge five-course meal right in front of you. I just got hibachi vegetables, and it was soooo good. Holy crap. We all agreed to go back there as soon as we're all together in september again.
Then we all snuck into the pool and jacuzzi at the God of Thunder's apartment and hung out there til like, 1:15am when we got kicked out by the guy doing closing sweeps. Grr. But it was glorious. I dont think I've ever been that relaxed as I was when I was floating in the jacuzzi.
Then on sunday, there was a lot of vegetating, and me and Joe being attached at the hip, thinking he was gonna leave at 5 that afternoon. As it turned out, he missed the flight and I had him until five this morning. We stayed up all night and then drove to the airport, hung out a bit, and then left when he went to his gate. I was basically out of it, so I was just kinda in my own little world. Then I got to sleep in my own bed again for a couple hours before Ash came and got me and we went to the EB Games on Victory and I got my Guild Wars cutout. Holy shit. So hot. I need to start playing that... Probably this summer. Then I went back to bed and slept through my 3pm till 5 to go to my 6pm, speech. Blah. Nothing to report there. Except, I finally fully woke up half way through, and got all sad because i realized that my Joe is gone and this displeases me. Well, understatement. But you get the idea.
Oh! And I'm getting better at Resident Evil 0. Its so much more fun after you learn to aim the damned pistol...

Date: 2005-05-10 06:52 pm (UTC)The game runs really smooth though from what I've seen, it doesn't seem very wasteful or demanding. I think I'm going to turn in one of my games and pick it up today....mmmm.....
