Okay, so I’m not at all a Star Wars nerd, so a lot of the detail was lost on me, but the references to Frank being a pirate captain and seducing Gerard’s droid into VIVE LA RESISTANCE! was kind of amazing. Spacepirate captain Frank needs to be real life. And Bob the droid. LOLLLLL.

So I’m like, kind of almost done with Home Is A Name, but I needed a break that was something short and not simultaneously shmoopy and traumatizing.
OH GOD. JUST. I HATE MYSELF FOR LOVING THIS. I HATE MYSELF HAAARRRRD. And it makes me all sad, at the same time, that we are now Bob-less. I think I’ve been in denial about that like, since I heard. SAAAAD.

Frank has The Sims 2 on his laptop, but really old, without any of the fancy expansion packs or anything. One day while Frank is on the phone with Jamia, Bob makes a tiny Sim version of himself, and a tiny house with no doors and nothing in it but a stove, and lets it run.

Frank won't speak to him for two days.

That. That right there. Made me inhale Lean Pocket up my nose.

It was fucking precious. Like, exactly what I needed after braving the onslaught of AIDSFIC all fucking night. Which I still haven't finished yet. But just. TINY, TINY FRANK. AND HIS TINY, TINY CRAZY. And Bob's enormous and constant near-death experiential state. JUST WHAT. OH, HONEY. I have such a weird relationship with shameless angst fics like that one. Like, on the one hand I loathe it on principle, and yet I sort of enjoy the hedonistic self indulgence of it in like, a exhibitive sense.
