there should be laws against bad directors

ok. white noise sucks. its sort of like a testimony on every wrong turn that can be taken when directing a horror flick. it had the potential to be really creepy. it had some cool ideas. but they were executed in the most disjointed, haphazard, cheap shock-value way possible. cliche after cliche after cliche. i felt like i'd already seen it. i really hate to say this, but i think it was just another victim of the horrors of a decent idea in the hands of a baaaad writer/director combo. so sad... so sad.

so in short, dont bother seeing it unless you want yet another reason to worship sam raimi and his glorious directing skills, as they kick the ass of every other horror movie director's (alright. spiderman1 being the fluke. good gods, man.)

also, these are my opinions here. i know theres some issues with spiderman that i'm not gonna even touch, using the excuse that since they werent horror, they dont apply here. oh, and i still think the grude rocked.
