I got a job as assistant stage manager for Metamorphoses!! Fuck you, early practicum hours!! Fuck you so hard! Hehehe. I am soooo happy. Its stage management, so of course it'll lend itself, most likely, to ten kinds of hell, but who cares. At least I'm finally doing something in my department. And I'll be in Direction and Stage management next quarter, so yeah. Metamorphoses is in February, so that should be a nice addition to the class. I'm sure I'll be working enough on regular tech stuff with Lighting and Scene Design. And Writing Fundamentals for Stage and Screen. Yahoooo!! I forgot how much I loooove writing scripts and screeplays til last week. Then spring quarter I have to take my one math class. *wince* Ugh. Two and a half hours of math twice a week. Kill meeeee. But fuck that. I'M AN ASM!!
Quitting tech and becoming a full-focus Sound Design major this far into my college career is a bad idea. I need to keep telling myself this. Yes I do. Oh help. Thats what grad school is for. Yes yes. Shut up, brain.
