So the new genius Dean of the MPRA dept. just made it policy that if you take any *any* MPRA class, you have to do 30 hrs of practicum for every one. I'M A TECH! WHY NOT JUST GIVE ME A FUCKING PRACTICUM GODSDAMNED CLASS!? So thats 30 hours *outside* class we have to come into the scene shop or whatever and work, and we dont pass unless we volunteer more than the alotted 30 hrs. WHO'S FUCKING IDEA WAS THIS!? At least give us an extra credit or something. And the only reason I'm upset, because I really dont mind practicum, is that it doesn't matter that I'm a tech fucking major; I'm just another drone, so I dont even get to do something that could actually be *helpful* with my major. I got assigned lighting, which is what I applied for, and so far they have me ripping up pieces of fabric to make tree things and grinding down welding on braces. Ok... powertools are fun, especially first thing in the morning, but... Oh whatever. I dont want to sound like I'm whining. I'm just not looking forward to later in the year when I have actual theater tech classes that force me to come in even more than I already would be to work on projects to do menial little things. It just seems sort of... inefficient and troublesome. Shut up, Joe.

So less whiny... YAY SIX FLAGS!! ...Not that I have *time* to be going to Six Flags Atlanta... But ohthefuckwell. I wish my damn scene partner would call me so I can plan the rest of my evening... People. Geez. Why is it mandatory for me to deal with them? Just... Why? *sigh* TROUBLESOME! THERE! I SAID IT!

Entering a contest on Halloween weekend with my roommates to decorate the door and win $20 each. We're doing my idea. Re: stick the rigid wrap cast of my hand from last year to the door and squirt the whole fucker with ketchup.

Seems like neither of us are having very much luck today with academia. But yeah...six flags omgyeshappinesswillhappen! We'll be able to put all of the troublesome stuff behind us and enjoy this weekend. Ogg the Destroyer commands it! *hug*
