Nothing gets me motivated like a good dose of heartfelt panic. I was talking to Joe on thursday and nearly had a panic attack just thinking about everything thats gonna be going on in the week before this friday. So i went with Ash and got the chains for my 3D final at Home Depot (they're big and shiny and eight feet long. I looped them over my shoulders and walked around HD twirling one end. The salesman was scared. He said so. *nodnod*), and nabbed some boxes from behind Wally World. That was an adventure in itself. This lady came running out as I was hauling a whole bunch into the car and asked if "they" had sent me? Quick thinking; I said "Yup." She said okay, because the boxes are .89 cents each and to just be sure I bring them back in good condition. Now I want to know who "they" are. Hahaha. Oh well. I got ten boxes.
On saturday, I went to Montgomery and got all the rollovers done and checked, and so now all I have left to do is link them, which will take all of two minutes. I told Duff I'd come in for the beginning of class on tuesday to do that, he can check it out, and then he told me I'm done. I dont even have to come in for crit on thursday. I asked him if I'd get counted off for that, and he told me no, and asked if we even really get anything out of those anyway. I said yeah, kinda, because we get peer feedback, and can see what other people came up with and get ideas for future projects from that, but seriously, packing and cleaning is waaaay more important right now. So thats one class down.
Yesterday I went on a crazy mission around Savannah for Rigid Wrap (the stuff they make casts out of) to do the casts of my face for 3D. I was almost sorry no one knocked on the door; I would have answered it with my face entirely covered in plaster cloth, only my eyes uncovered. It woulda been awesome. I did the second one with my mouth open, which was way harder than anticipated. A bit droolier, too. Heh... I painted them like Pierrot masks today. The masks themselves are white, with red and black details. And i sewed the lips shut on the one with a closed mouth. Theres all kinds of meaning behind the whole project, but I really dont feel like getting into that right now. The point is, i assembled it all, and its DONE!!! MWAHAHAHHAHA!!! So thats two classes down. Now all thats left are the two days of crit for 3D (fuck you, Yuki, and the demon that spawned you.), and that just leaves Speech.
*shiver*
