reni_days is fucking awesome. I mean, seriously? So fucking awesome. But she keeps going all catatonic when I compliment her, so I figure that the best way to get around that and still express a minute percentage of my gratitude for how many shitty, shitty days her writing has un-shittified for me is to shower her in gifts. TA-DAH! (Don't. Stop. Writing. I will draw for you foreverrrrrr. )

And finally, because I obviously don't namecheck this story enough.
You know how I keep mentioning/drawing fornovembersmith's The Anatomy Of A Fall? Okay, so basically it's this crazy-epic ghost story with a lot of bone jokes and charm, but the main character just happens to be named Gerard Way. And he has a brother. Named Mikey Way. No, Mikey reeeeally likes him some unicorns and Gerard reeeeally likes him some drawing. And he's a nice big brother, so when Mikey is sick, he fills pages and pages of biology notes with comics of Mikey Way: UNICORN WARRIOR.
Now, me being me, I enabled the everloving crap out ofaquidis until she read this glorious piece of fiction, and then she in turn enabled/harangued the everloving crap out of me until I bowed my pencil to her will. She's just lucky it was her birthday a couple weeks ago.
No. Okay. This was totally bound to happen.

I honestly don't think I've ever had as much fun drawing anything as I have with my recent stuff. It's like a game- How Ridiculous Can I Make These Clothes And Still Have Them Look Believable?
I'm gonna be gloating about that garter for a week.
...And I've finally caved and have started fashioning cravats out of my silk scarves to wear with my outfits. I'm gonna bring that shit back, baby! Wait and see. (Find me a skull or equally badass cravat pin and win my undying affection and a showcase in my next art spam. JUST SAYING.)
