Okay, so like. It had it's... moments. Where I was all, uh wtf just happened that smells like a plot-hole. BUT FUCK THAT. Dude, okay. So Anatomy Of A Fall still kills for tops in my hierarchy of Ginormous Scary Fics Of Doom, maybe baaarely tied with Unholy, but this is probs like, right up there. Give it a day to gestate. And it's pretty much all thanks to the Little Mermaid thing at the end. I was SO HOPING. And she did it. And they did. And Spencer did. And Brendon did. And then with the knife. And SEAFOAM. And just. OH MY GOD, HANS CHRISTIAN MOTHERFUCKING ANDERSON, WHY DO YOU ROCK MY WORLD SO? (Sorry, uh. In case it wasn't apparent, this is sort of my favorite fairytale EVER. So. Yeah. Also I haven't slept in awhile and my head is full of Fruit Loops.) But yeah, it was TOTALLY sappy but TOTALLY like, justifiably so, you know? It wasn't gross, it wasn't overdone. It was fucking awesome and TRAGIC and duh, they weren't gonna die, but fuck that- TRAGEDY. IT'S KIND OF LIKE MY BATTERY.
And so, like, I'm reading the end of it at work last night, right? Only, I was working with Pam, who's... Uh. She's kind of like that really hyperactive puppy that the workaholic gets and then leaves home alone for eighteen hours a day in the dark, so when you put her near someone she likes, she kind of goes... scary. She kept TOUCHING me and like... It was weird. Okay, anyway, she was doing basically what I'm doing RIGHT NOW which is start going with the mouth-noises and just DIDN'T STOP. Ever. So I have my headphones in STEADFASTLY TRYING TO LISTEN TO THE SECOND HALF OF PRETTY.ODD. TO GET ME THROUGH 9C. And she's talking and talking and I was seriously about to, idek. Run out to my car and finish it just so I could get all emotionally wrought and savor it ALOOOONE. Nnngh. She finally subsided, though, and I finished it and just basked quietly in the DRAMAMAMAMAMA. And of course, Gerard and Frank (FRANNNNK! XD) and Gabe.
So I liked it. Should I stop giving you these epic reaction-tags? Seriously.
