so much lycra action!!
Mar. 26th, 2005 09:59 pmthursday night rocked hardcore. kenya was cool and helped me and mariel make envy and wrath costumes from some random stuff we got at walmart. now i just need to do some majr ab and leg workout stuff so i can wear it the real way, showing all the midriffy goodness and whatnot, and not walk around constantly yanking the skintight black lycra down and trying to shove the hem into my bike shorts. hee.
classes are fine so far. i think that the most amount of work will be 3-d design. maybe speech and public speaking, but thats basically just speech prep and like, one or two research missions, and one-page outlines. i think comp art apps should be pretty low-angst. and its at montgomery, so i get to eat decent food twice a week. its awesome!
3-d is lots of fun so far. i dont think we have the dreaded salt-block project, but we do have a wood-block thing. eeeergh. but its nice to finally have two friends in a class for once. mariel and emma are there with me representing the leaf and sand villages (but mist still kicks the ass!! mwahahah. er... negative-viva the dead!). and then i got pissed at the first project which is a giant paper mobile that we have to constuct using no adhesives (you think it sounds easy... yeah. whatever.), and ended up making the central focus of the piece kimblee from fullmetal's alchemy circle tatoos. i was convinced that i'd whack a finger off with the xacto, just trying to cut the freehand curves, but somehow i got away with only a slice on the top of my left middle finger, of all places.
oh, also, if anyone has a copy of photoshop cs and doesnt mind sparing an install for me, i will love you forever. kenya rocks and gave me elements, but i want the primo rockaciousness that is cs.
this spring break and beginning of quarter seem to be one big concentrated dose of otaku nerd-dom, probably thanks to my seeing a bunch of naruto and all of fma. something about being one of the two people i know who knows all of what happens just seems to have triggered this explosion of fun. that, and who can really say no to some good greed/kimblee cannon smut? i mean, really. *grin*
oh! and for all you fma fans out there, warehouse five, baby!! the shit is going down!!
